Colt got his glasses

This is the one he plans to use for his cover.

We took some pictures tonight with my niece and nephews and I snapped some of Colt with his new glasses. He posed himself and said he planned to use it on his new album cover. I guess he's been working on an album that I don't know about....

Colt's school had their fall festival Sat. and he decided to do the half mile run by himself. I was pretty impressed. He ended at the front right behind some girls that were older than him. He had a blast afterwards and during. Here's some pics from the occasion.

glasses

Well, it's been awhile! We've been busy people and I didn't realize it had been so long. I've been busy taking pictures for everybody else and haven't taken any of our family and that's usually what triggers me to blog.

To catch up....

I keep getting bad headaches daily and am real dizzy so decided to go to the eye Dr. to rule that out. After all, it's been ages since I have been. Dr. Pruett was my eye Dr. the last time I went and he retired at least 15 yrs ago. Anyway, after going to visit Dr. Mixon, which is great I have to say, he determined I have been straining in front of the computer or reading and that's what is causing the headaches. I have ordered glasses that should be here by the end of the week hopefully and I can't wait if it's going to make this go away. He showed me the difference and it made me realize that everything isn't suppose to be blurry like I have been seeing it. Pray this is the cure and that I can see better and the headaches and dizziness will go away.

As for Colt, he always holds my phone really close while playing games and I was starting to wonder if it was habit or because he was having problems seeing. After taking him as well where he got to pretend he was a pirate for the day with an eye patch, Dr. Mixon determined he has a astigmatism that is mediocre and could be why he is having problems getting his letters and numbers figured out. We shall see. After 3.5 hrs and 5 locations we found some and he is steadfast that they had to be black and white and converse. We ended up ordering online which will cause us to have to wait a little longer, but if he likes them hopefully he'll wear them is our hope.

Brad is doing better with the whole foot thing. His cast came off last month and he goes to the Dr. on the 20th to determine it continues to heal properly. Pray if you have time that it's healed and he can start running. It's really starting to bother him not to run. He truly misses it. (I just don't get it, but those that run say you do miss it so I will believe them.)

Photography business has been steady and good. It's that time of year. Over all sales are lower than in the past and that's to be expected because of the economy, but I have also been busier sooner so I have no complaints.

It's deer season and we have yet to get to the lease to put out corn. The time has come we have got to make plans and soon!
