It's been way too long....and now it's baseball season

Baseball started on Sat. and Colt is on the Braves this year. It's his first year in coach's pitch and he loves to play, but hates practice. Of course baseball is my favorite so I am determined to pump it up, but if he decides after this season he isn't a fan I will have to take it and deal with it. We have yet to receive our schedule for the season and our game yesterday got rained out, but we will resume after spring break. Here's some pictures from Saturday. He is playing a little catching and third base and seems to like it. We'll see where this goes.

Another one bites the dust

Colton was sick Sunday all day and stayed home yesterday to confirm he wasn't still sick even thou there wasn't a temperature. (He started running tempature again last night and is home again today, but that's not why I am writing this). He played all day around the house and came in before lunch with a kleenex in his mouth and a tooth in his hand and asked what he should do with it with a big grin. I knew it was loose, but didn't realize it was that loose. And how did he make it loose enough to come out you ask, you know you are wondering, the same way he did it the first time he ever lost a tooth, bit down on a dirtbike tire. I am still trying to figure out why a 6 yr old continues to put dirtbike tires in his mouth and then bite down. He wanted the tooth fairy to bring a golden dollar and he got his wish.
